A spectacular electrical storms light up the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle range after the massive 8.8-magnitude Puyehue volcano erupted in Chile which had laid dormant for over half a century. The eruption belched an ash cloud more than six miles high over the Andes and cause a flurry of earth quakes. Photos by: Francisco Negroni | Flickr | 500px
This is my second large alleyway painting, titled “What Up?”.
I really like this one. I like the depth, colours, and size of the overall piece (36” x 36”). I’m having a lot of fun layering transparent colours lately and painting the little alleyway details, such as graffiti and decay.
This is one of many distinctive alleyway environments in Vancouver, BC. Sometimes one must wonder how these places don’t crumble apart, they often feel very fragile and haphazard.
